Project Summary

The new Fire/EMS Station was constructed west of downtown Wendell in the Wendell Falls Development. The site is off Taylor Road about 500 feet from its new intersection with Wendell Falls Parkway.

Wake County owns the property and building. Wendell Fire Department manages fire response units from this location. Eastern Wake EMS operates both its EMS units and administration out of this facility.

This station is a single-story 16,349 SF facility. The exterior is a masonry facade with a metal roof. The facility has four double-length apparatus bays, living quarters, offices, training room, locker and bathrooms, and laundry space.
