West Regional Library Renovation

WRL Entry View

Project Summary

The West Regional Library first opened in 2006 and is one of Wake County’s more active libraries.  It serves western Cary and portions of Morrisville.  A renovation is being planned to update the interiors and address various aging building systems.  Improvements include improved layouts, furnishings, shelving, floor and wall finishes, high efficiency LED lighting, HVAC equipment and support space improvements.

A construction start date is not yet established but is likely around February 2025.  Please check back for updates.
