EMS Cary Main Station Site Bird's Eye View

Project Summary

On March 16, 2022, the Wake County Board of Commissioners completed the purchase of a property assemblage at the intersection of Kildaire Farm and E. Cornwall Roads in Cary, North Carolina for the construction of the Cary Main EMS Station. The Cary Main EMS Station will be a modified Wake County regional EMS prototype station that will support EMS substations in Eastern Wake County and deploy a full compliment of emergency response units including advanced paramedic vehicles and ambulances. The facility will also provide meeting space, training areas, offices, a breakroom and dayroom, an exercise area, fleet service bays, and support space. While the project is still in the early site design phase, green stormwater initiatives are anticipated together with solar energy collection and distribution.
