Library Commission

The Wake County Board of Commissioners relies on volunteers to meet a crucial need for Wake County. Citizens can apply online for an open seat for Library Commission or other advisory boards or commissions.

The Library Commission is an advisory board appointed by the Wake County Board of Commissioners. Each member is appointed to represent a county commissioner's district, the county at large, or a district appointment. The commission advises the county commissioners on matters affecting the library system. Libraries by district can be found here.
