Volunteer Days

Group of individuals from volunteer workday at Beech Bluff County Park

Looking for a way to get involved with the park? Join us during one of our Volunteer Days. These provide a variety of opportunities for individuals and small groups to give back to the park. Volunteer Days are scheduled to take place at least once per month and cover a variety of volunteer tasks such as assisting with plantings, invasive removal, event assistance, and more. We ask that all volunteers please register in advance of the volunteer day to ensure enough supplies are available and so we may share pertinent information about the specific volunteer day task.

If you are interested in organizing a volunteer event for your group or organization, please complete our Beech Bluff County Park: Volunteer Interest form and we’ll be happy to schedule something.

Adopt-A-Bed Volunteer Program

Beech Bluff County Park has numerous landscaped beds that are designed to support native plants and wildlife. To help with maintenance of these beds our Adopt-a-Bed program allows volunteers to adopt a designated bed for the purpose of providing regular general maintenance to allow the plants there to thrive and support native wildlife.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate in our Adopt-A-Bed Volunteer Program and be willing to devote approximately 2 hours per week to bed maintenance.

If you are interested in joining our Adopt-A-Bed Volunteer Program, please complete our Beech Bluff County Park: Volunteer Interest form and our Volunteer Coordinator will reach to you with more information.
