Crowder County Park offers a variety of program options for members of the public, groups, camps and major events focused on the natural, cultural and recreational opportunities of Wake County.

Public Programs

Crowder County Park offers a variety of environmental educational programs for all ages! Learn through hands-on activities such as science experiments and art, and meet our park naturalists as you and your families explore the natural world.

Camps

Crowder’s camp offers children (ages 6–9) hands-on nature activities including visits with live animals, hikes, crafts, games and more. There will be two adult staff with the children at all times.

Crowder County Park From Home

There are lots of different activities created by park staff that will allow you to enjoy Crowder County Park from home! Be sure to check back often, as this page is updated with new activities and videos regularly!

Group Programs

Although Crowder County Park does not currently offer group programs, you can reach out to Crowder’s sister park, Historic Yates Mill County Park, to schedule group programs there. Historic Yates Mill is located at 4620 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603, about 7 miles from Crowder County Park.
