Historic Oak View County Park – Bond Improvements

In 2018, voters passed a $120 million Parks, Greenways, Recreation and Open Space bond. Renovations and improvements slated for Historic Oak View focus on modernizing the park’s Visitor Center, adding a classroom and improving the park’s popular Farmer’s Corner play area. Additionally, the bond will replace the park’s Bluebird Shelter with a new 100-person capacity shelter. A new facility maintenance building will be added to the site to further facilitate the care and upkeep of the grounds, buildings, gardens and livestock. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026 and be completed by summer 2027. The total investment for Historic Oak View County Park is approximately $4.5 million.
