Zoning – Food Trucks are only allowed in commercial areas such as in the parking lot of a store. Parking in residential areas or on residentially zoned vacant property is not allowed unless the vendor is part of a special event like a farmers’ market or fair.
Parking – Food Trucks should not park in areas marked as handicap accessible, in fire lanes, or block sidewalks. Parking on the street in residential subdivisions or in rural areas is not allowed.
Signs – Small portable signs are ok to set up during operating hours. Make sure the sign doesn’t block sidewalks or make it difficult for drivers to see when pulling in or out of the business.
Trash – Keep it clean! Receptacles for trash and recycling should be provided close to the Food Truck.
Seating – Additional seating is not allowed.
