Fred Davis Engineers was purchased by Cavanaugh & Associates in 1997.

 

Eventually hundreds of Wake County Historical maps were moved to Danbury NC, making them less accessible to the Wake County land records community.

 

The Triangle Chapter of the NC Society of Surveyors requested the maps be scanned for the purposes of historical preservation and ease of access.
