Recording Your Maintenance Schedule at the Register of Deeds

Below are the steps to record your maintenance schedule at the Register of Deeds.  This information should be completed in advance of requesting an Operations Permit. 

  1. Print and fill out completely the maintenance schedule included in Construction Authorization permit. 
  2. Have original paperwork notarized. 
  3. Submit original paperwork to the Wake County Register of Deeds. Check out for fees, contacts and directions. 
  4. Send email to Wake County personnel working with the project, with the Book and Page number where the ASDSMS document was recorded. 
  5. If Operator Contract is required, upload to Wake County Permit Portal
