About This Event

Join us for the 2026 Spring Wake County Onsite Water Protection Installer and Designer Workshop, a hands-on training event designed for professionals working in onsite wastewater system installation and design.

The workshop kicks off at 8:45 a.m. with welcome remarks from Evan Kane, Director of Wake County Onsite Water Protection, followed by program updates from OSWP managers. Attendees will then dive into financial assistance options and well and septic repair programs across North Carolina, featuring experts from SERCAP (Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, Inc.), Wake County OSWP and Preserving Home, Inc. After a short break,  the focus shifts to practical solutions for challenging lots, led by Brad Johnson of T&J Panel, Inc., who will also provide a live product demonstration before lunch.

This workshop has been approved for three (3) Continuing Education Hours by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Operator Certification Program – Wastewater. It will also be submitted to the North Carolina Registered Environmental Health Specialist Board for approval of three (3) CE hours.
