  • Date: NEW DATE Saturday, July 11th, 2026
  • Time: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join Zone Captains, Margaret & Jonny, for a Crabtree Creek cleanup, sponsored by Heidelberg Materials! Breakfast, lunch, and watercrafts are provided (you may bring your own, but motorized crafts are not allowed). Volunteers will park and meet for breakfast at the launch site, then paddle down the creek, collecting litter along the way. Afterward, volunteers will help unload trash, enjoy lunch, and be shuttled back to the start.

This cleanup is not like paddling on a lake. Creek conditions may require volunteers to get in and out of their watercrafts due to sandbars, low water, or obstacles. Paddling experience is required. Volunteers must be 16 or older. Anyone ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. All volunteers must sign a liability waiver.

Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist will be created if registration fills up. Recommended items: drinking water, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.

In case of bad weather or high water, the event will be rescheduled to the rain date. Detailed instructions will be emailed after registration.
