Great for families or those with children. Cleanup takes place in and around Swift Creek. Wear good shoes and clothing that can get dirty/wet. Meet at the Swift Creek Greenway parking lot in Harold D. Ritter Park. Volunteers must be 11 & up.
Connect with your community and spend part of your Saturday helping to keep Cary litter-free. Participants will receive cleanup supplies and be assigned to a small group to remove litter from our parks, streets, trails, and landscapes.
Each participating person must register for this event! Anyone who isn't registered, including youth, will not be able to participate.
Registration is required through the Town of Cary via Rosterfy. You must create an account and sign the liability waiver before volunteer shifts and options become available.
To access this specific location:
- On the left-hand side of the dashboard, select “Shift Calendar.”
- Navigate to March 14.
- Choose that date and select the third option titled “Spring Litter Sweep – Swift Creek at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve.”
