Join us and celebrate Creek Week with our partners at the Town of Apex by helping remove litter from a valued local stream, nearby roadways, and adjacent parking lots. This project will include areas within a wooded section, so volunteers should be prepared for uneven terrain and natural surroundings.
Parking will be at the church lot, where volunteers will sign in and participate in a brief welcome and safety talk before heading to their assigned areas.
Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty, bring drinking water, and wear sun protection. All additional supplies will be provided.
Registration required. Additional event details, including parking location and day-of instructions, will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event.
Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to participate. Adults must register and accompany volunteers under the age of 14. Everyone who volunteers must sign a release form. If a volunteer is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign their form as well.
