Coin Collecting Basics

This class, brought to you by Jeff McCauslin, the President of the Raleigh Coin Club, will guide you through the process of evaluating and valuing coins, even if you have no prior experience. You will learn coin collecting basics including key terminology and how to handle and preserve coins. You will be introduced to coin grading and helpful online resources. Whether you are looking to sell, buy, or learn more about your collection, this class will provide the foundation to make informed decisions. No buying or selling will be done at this event but please bring coins to be evaluated as time permits.
