Understanding Dementia and Lewy Body

This program is designed for diagnosed or suspected dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) patients, caregivers, loved ones, health professionals, and the general public. It will include an overview of the different types of Lewy body disease, including Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson’s disease dementia, and DLB. The symptoms, clinical features, and primary diagnostic criteria for DLB will be explained, as well as resources for patients and caregivers seeking help, information, and support. Finally, this presentation will discuss current treatments and clinical trials for DLB.
