Join us for an update on the future Wake County Apex Main EMS Station! Drop in anytime to see displays on the site and building plan and learn about the preliminary schedule for construction. Staff from Wake County staff and design consultants will be on hand to talk and answer questions.

The Apex Main EMS Station will replace an existing substation on Highway 55 in Apex. The new location will address population growth to the west of Apex, and it will improve access to major traffic corridors, including Highway 540, Kelly Road, Apex Barbecue Road and Olive Chapel Road.

The 4,300-square-foot station will be built next to the new Town of Apex Public Safety facility, which will enhance response and services. Construction is expected to begin in winter 2023.
