Sheila B. Jones spent her career educating and inspiring students about the natural world. Now, one Wake County student will carry that legacy forward through the Sheila B. Jones Environmental Education Scholarship .

“This marks the third year the scholarship is being awarded,” said Wake County Commissioner Susan Evans. “Wake County students with a passion for the environment now have a new opportunity to pursue their dreams. This scholarship gives them the support they need to turn that passion into a career and make a real difference in our community.”
