Out of an abundance of caution, the Wake County Board of Commissioners is shifting its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 2, at 5 p.m. from in person to remote.
With a state of emergency declaration in effect, the County has decided that road conditions on Monday will be too dangerous for Commissioners, staff and residents to drive to a public meeting. With safety in mind, the County will livestream the meeting.
Public comments will be accepted online Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be no option for residents to speak virtually to the Board.
The livestream will begin at 5 p.m. To watch the meeting, visit our website to access the link.
