Wake County Sheriff's Office Collaborates in Large Scale Operation

A total of 17 men and women have been arrested as part of a multi-jurisdictional operation targeting drug traffickers.

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, conducted a large-scale operation targeting drug traffickers operating in our county. The operation resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms.

This joint effort involved the cooperation of the Drug Enforcement Administration, US Marshals Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, State Bureau of Investigation, Wake County District Attorney’s Office, Raleigh Police Department, Wake Forest Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Henderson Police Department.

The individuals arrested in this operation include (charges in parentheses):

  • 20-year-old Marzavier Richardson (16 counts of trafficking opium or heroin and Conspiracy to traffic heroin)
  • 21-year-old Tyzavier Montreal Jeffreys (Possession of a firearm by felon and 12 counts of trafficking opium or heroin)
  • 25-year-old Jordan Maynor (eight counts of trafficking opium or heroin)
  • 26-year-old Dashawn Jones (eight counts of trafficking heroin)
  • 31-year-old Couri Russell (Conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin)
  • 33-year-old Daris Jeffreys (12 counts of trafficking cocaine)
  • 33-year-old Wesley Narron (Conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin, Possession of firearm by felon and four counts of Trafficking Heroin)
  • 34-year-old Donnie Jeffreys (three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine)
  • 36-year-old Justin Jeffreys (Conspire to sell schedule I controlled substance, Possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, Maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, and four counts of trafficking heroin)
  • 42-year-old Marcus Massenburg (Conspiracy to traffic cocaine)
  • 43-year-old Sedrick Boyd (Conspiracy to traffic opium/heroin, and four counts of trafficking heroin)
  • 43-year-old Sheree Street (Possession of firearm by felon)
  • 52-year-old Aleshia Walker (Trafficking cocaine, Conspiracy to traffic cocaine, Possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver marijuana, Felony possession marijuana)
  • 53-year-old Keith Holland (Conspiracy to traffic cocaine)
  • 54-year-old Aaron Walker (Trafficking cocaine, Conspiracy to traffic cocaine, Possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver marijuana, Felony possession marijuana)
  • 66-year-old Sophia Jeffreys (Sell cocaine and Maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance)
  • *arrested earlier this month* 30-year-old Juwan Clifton (Possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, Possession with intent to sell or deliver a counterfeit controlled substance, Possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver cocaine, Manufacture sell distribute or possess a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, two counts of trafficking cocaine and two counts of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance)
     

“Our deputies and investigators remain committed to holding repeat offenders accountable and keeping dangerous drugs off our streets,” Sheriff Willie Rowe said. “This operation is another example of the hard work and dedication of our team. We are thankful for our partnering law enforcement agencies for helping us pursue those who jeopardize the safety of our communities.”
