Yoga at the Library: May Series on Sthira & Sukha

YOGA

About This Event

This May, Triangle Shala is pleased to bring you yoga classes themed on the topic of Sthira & Sukha. Sthira, is a Sanskrit term that translates to standing firm, and is a fiery part of our practice that requires intention, focus & steadiness.  Sukha, on the other hand, translates to ease, comfort and thereby invokes the release, and surrender to our practice. In our classes for this month, we will attempt to set balance between both strength and ease and aim for a well-rounded yoga practice. This 1-hour class is aimed at all levels of yoga practitioners. No experience? No problem. Our inclusive class format will provide options and guidance for everyone (including those that pre & postnatal).

Bring a mat, roll it out, take a deep inhale and come learn about how yoga is more than asana (posture) practice.
