The Board of Commissioners sets the County’s property tax rate, regulates land use and zoning outside municipal jurisdictions, and adopts the annual budget. 2025 State of the County Address
Wake County Board of Commissioners Chair Susan Evans hosted the annual State of the County Address on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Marbles Kids Museum. The State of the County Address is a public event that highlights the year's accomplishments.
