Translation & Interpretation Services for Board of Commissioners Meetings

The Wake County Board of Commissioners is proud to announce new services to make its decision-making processes more accessible to residents who are deaf or hard of hearing, or do not read English fluently.

Beginning August 1, 2023, the following services will be available to anyone who requests them.

The five languages available for translations reflect the five most commonly spoken non-English languages in Wake County according to the 2020 United States Census.

Translation and interpretation services are free to all requesters.

Please request these services by emailing BOCTranslate@wake.gov. If email is not available, please call 919-856-6180.
