Currently, CCBI employs over 80 individuals, who provide the following services: criminal arrest fingerprinting, civil fingerprinting, crime scene examinations, crime scene fingerprint examinations, firearm examinations, analysis for controlled substances, analysis of DWI blood samples, analysis of Information Technology devices and media, and analysis of DNA (available 2024).

The Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification will continuously strive for perfection while setting the highest standards in crime scene science services, laboratory services, and criminal and civil identification services.
