Buckhorn Disc Golf Course

This course was established in 2001 in partnership with the Raleigh Area Disc League. It is located off the Disc Golf/Fishing Pond gravel parking lot, which is the second lot on your right after you enter the park. Signs are posted at the cable entrance to the disc golf access area.

This course offers 18 challenging baskets, including water hazards and narrow fairways. There are also two additional practice baskets located at the beginning of the course to help you warm up putting or working on your long shot. Scorecards are available and found inside the mailbox near the wooden informational kiosk. Course closes 15 minutes before park closes.

Public Notice:  Mountain Bike Gravel Lot and Disc Golf Parking Lot Closure

Scheduled maintenance and grading within the gravel lots associated with the mountain bike trails and disc golf course will occur during the week of Sept. 18. Tentative date for lot closure is set for Wednesday, Sept. 20. Vehicle parking will not be allowed in these lots. We apologize for any inconvenience, but note that this is much-needed work to repair areas within these lots. Appreciate your cooperation and patience. You can follow us on Facebook or contact the main park office for updates.

Park staff want to thank CADL for their donation of practice basket "0" and its new pad installed during the spring of 2015.

CADL has been an avid partner in coordinating disc golf tournaments, course workdays and providing educational opportunities throughout the year. We appreciate their continued support!
