Volunteer Opportunities

Robertson Millpond Preserve couldn’t operate without the gracious assistance of many members of the public and organizations that volunteer. Learn more about volunteer opportunities below.

Scouts

Over the years, many Scouts have chosen to complete exciting projects around Wake County  Nature Preserves. Occasionally our park staff have specific projects in mind that would satisfy the requirements, but Scouts are encouraged to submit their own ideas.

To inquire about projects, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Ashley Gagnon at ashley.gagnon@wake.gov.

Volunteer Service Agreement and Release Form

All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Release Form. All minors must bring a completed form signed by a parent or legal guardian, and all participants are encouraged to email or bring their completed forms with them to their first volunteer session.

Please note that volunteer projects are dependent on availability and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To discuss volunteer opportunities or be notified of upcoming events, contact Volunteer Coordinator Ashley Gagnon at ashley.gagnon@wake.gov
