Temporary Employment Interest Form

Customer Service and Voter Registration: Provide customer service in person and by telephone, perform data entry and review of voter registration and absentee applications, assist at voter outreach events in the community. Requirements: data entry experience, strong communication skills, customer service experience, attention to detail, organizational skills, and flexibility to perform various tasks throughout the day. A data entry skills assessment is required. Part-time positions are not available. Overtime is required and employees must be available to work up to 60 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) during peak election season.

 

Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support by assisting with election planning and organization. Duties may include precinct official communication and assignment, assisting at precinct official election training classes, and other administrative duties as assigned. Requirements: demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment, customer service experience, and flexibility to perform various tasks throughout the day. Data entry and Microsoft Word and Excel skills assessments are required. Part-time positions are not available. Overtime is required and employees must be available to work up to 60 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) during peak election season.

 

Information Technology: Install and test software, install and troubleshoot peripherals including printers and scanners, troubleshoot networks, provide telephone and on-site technical support. Requirements: hardware and software installation experience, demonstrated knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 and Microsoft Office Suite, technology troubleshooting and customer support experience, and comfort working in various roles that may include physical labor. Reliable transportation is required. An IT skills assessment is required. Part-time positions are not available. Overtime is required and employees must be available to work up to 60 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) during peak election season.

 

Mobile Election Support: Provide on-site support to voting locations to deliver and collect supplies, assist with crowd control, post directional signage, and assist with traffic flow. Requirements: ability to lift at least 50 pounds, customer service skills, attention to detail, and a clean driving record. Reliable transportation is required. Part-time positions are not available. Overtime is required and employees must be available to work up to 60 hours per week (including evenings and weekends) during peak election season.
