Wake County Register of Deeds
The Wake County Register of Deeds office is located on the 1st floor of the Wake County Justice Center. The primary responsibilities of the Register of Deeds Office are to record, maintain and make available to the general public real estate documents and other documents on file in the office. The staff also issues marriage licenses, birth, death, and marriage certificates, notary oaths, and maintains records of armed forces discharges.
