The Water Quality Division is involved in educating the public, permitting and providing enforcement to protect soil and water resources, and leading initiatives on water and environmental sustainability throughout Wake County. The Division accomplishes its tasks through robust and customer-centric programs in watershed management and water resources. As a nationally recognized division with a quest for global recognition, Water Quality Division’s ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life enjoyed and shared by all residents of Wake County.
