Statement of Riparian Buffer Ordinance Compliance
Jordan Lake is in the Cape Fear River Basin and is designated a Water Supply Watershed. Wake County's Unified Development Ordinance, Article 11, Environmental Standards, applies 100' riparian buffers in water supply watersheds that are more restrictive than those of the Jordan Rule.
