Wake County Solid Waste Management Division manages several recycling and waste disposal facilities for residents and businesses in Wake County.

Service Update

Convenience Center Site 6, at 3913 Lillie Liles Road, is currently unable to accept bulky waste because of equipment failure. Residents who need to dispose of mattresses, furniture or other bulky items should take them to Convenience Center Site 7, at 9024 Deponie Drive in Raleigh. 

Convenience Center Site 7 at 9024 Deponie Drive is unable to accept construction waste or scrap metal after 4 pm because of maintenance work occurring at the site. Residents are encouraged to bring these items between 7 am and 4 pm.
